Becoming a Living Wage Employer.

We are proud to announce that in July, Combined Support Services officially became a Living Wage Employer. This means we have made a clear commitment to pay our staff the real Living Wage, a rate independently calculated based on the actual cost of living in the UK. For us, this is about more than a pay rate, it is about doing the right thing, recognising the hard work of our team, and ensuring they are rewarded fairly. Paying the real Living Wage is part of our wider commitment to raising standards in the security and facilities management sector, where too often low pay has been the norm.

Joining the Security Industry Federation.

On 31st July 2025, Combined Support Services became an Affiliate Member of the Security Industry Federation (SIF). This is a significant step for us, as the SIF plays a vital role in representing security professionals and pushing for higher standards across the industry. Our membership underlines our belief that the sector must continue to evolve by prioritising professionalism, fair treatment, and better opportunities for everyone who works in security.

Achieving Cyber Essentials Certification.

We are also proud to confirm that Combined Support Services has been awarded the Cyber Essentials certification. This government-backed accreditation demonstrates that we have robust measures in place to protect our company and clients against cyber threats. In today’s digital world, data security and trust are critical. By achieving this standard, we are not only safeguarding our own systems but also providing peace of mind to our current and future clients that their information is in safe hands.

Supporting Our Staff with the Protect Card.

As part of our commitment to staff welfare, we are also proud to support our team by funding their Protect Cards. The Protect Card gives our employees access to a wide range of discounts on everyday items, travel, and services helping to make their wages go further. For us, it is another way of showing that we value our people both inside and outside of work.
