1. Punctuality – Arrive on-site at least 15 minutes before your shift for a smooth handover.
2. Uniform Standards – Always wear the full company uniform and ID badge; maintain a neat and professional appearance.
3. Communication Protocols – Keep supervisors informed of incidents or potential issues; interact politely with clients and visitors.
4. Policy Adherence – Follow site-specific protocols and client guidelines diligently.
5. Incident Reporting – Use the designated Incident Report Form and submit reports within 24 hours with accurate details.
Health and Safety at Work.
Safety remains a top priority, especially during winter. Take proactive measures to ensure a secure work environment:
• Slip Hazards – Keep walkways clear of ice, snow, or debris; wear appropriate footwear.
• Visibility – High-visibility jackets are mandatory for outdoor duties in low-light conditions.
• Incident Response – Report hazards or safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
• Emergency Preparedness – Familiarise yourself with evacuation routes and emergency contacts. Download the Citizen AID app for guidance on emergencies.
• Routine Inspections – Regularly inspect your work area and report potential risks.

1. Digital Scheduling Tools
o Suggestion: Implement a digital shift scheduling system.
o Response: A new scheduling app will launch soon, enabling you to manage shifts, submit timesheets, and receive updates.
2. Site Rotation Opportunities
o Suggestion: Offer site rotation to enhance experience.
o Response: We are developing a site rotation program to provide employees with diverse work experiences.

Reminders & Best Practices.
Timesheet Submission.
Timely submission of timesheets is essential for accurate payroll processing. Ensure that your time sheets include:
• Full name and date of shift.
• Site name and job reference number.
• Client signature verifying hours worked.
• Submit monthly deadlines before to avoid payment delays.
SCONE Protocol for Theft Prevention.
When intervening in theft situations, always follow the SCONE protocol:
1. Select – Confirm that the individual has selected an item.
2. Conceal – Observe the concealment of the item to establish intent.
3. Observe – Maintain uninterrupted observation of the suspect.
4. Non-payment – Verify that payment has not been made.
5. Exit – Ensure the suspect has left the premises before acting.
Strict adherence to SCONE ensures lawful and effective interventions.
